"I am not President Bush"...

John McCain failed once again in his attempt to change the course of the race.
Although he was a little more aggressive than in previous debates, he did not go far enough, and did not ask Obama the right questions.
Even if he repeatedly tried to put Sen. Barack Obama on the defensive , accusing him of seeking to raise taxes, associating with a former terrorist and engaging in an unmatched barrage of negative campaigning, he did not manage to deliver a fatal blow.
Obama, pivoting away from McCain's critiques, accused his opponent of trying to divert attention from the nation's ailing economy, refocusing the debate to his central assertion about McCain: that the represented a continuation of Bush administration economic policies.
John McCain's answer was a good one :
"Senator Obama, I am not President Bush," McCain said. "If you want to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago."
He asserted emphatically, "I want to take the country in a different direction."
Now, I am going to give you a piece of advice :
don't read the paper this morning ; don't watch television ; don't listen to the radio...
Otherwise, you will hear, as usual : "Obama is the winner"...
